Personalised items are not covered under the Distance Selling Regulations.
This does affect your statutory rights.
Personalised items include but are not restricted to:
- Anything that’s made to your specific requirements (ie: outside of standard customisation options offered by the seller to all customers), is personalised or otherwise can't be resold due to a bespoke element
- Creative pieces that are specially commissioned when you place an order, like art, sculpture and ceramics
- Anything with your own personalised wording and/or images
If an item is damaged then please contact within 14 days for a replacement or full refund at the discretion of Fizzy Strawberry Gifts and upon the return of the original item.
If an item is NOT to your specifications and this was found to be the fault of Fizzy Strawberry Gifts then please contact within 14 days for a replacement or full refund at the discretion of Fizzy Strawberry Gifts and upon the return of the original item.
All items must be returned in their original state with all parts included and using the cheapest postal method with tracking possible. Postage will only be refunded up to this amount.
However, if the mistake is found to be the fault of the customer eg. incorrect spelling of name in message box then Fizzy Strawberry Gifts CANNOT be held responsible and no refund will be issued.
As most items on the website are handmade to customer specifications then these are NOT covered by the Distance Selling Regulations and therefore are non-returnable in the event of the customer changing his or her mind and the normal 14 day cooling off period DOES NOT apply
We reserve the right to refuse returns and refunds on all personalised items in the event of a customer changing their mind
However we also stock some items which are not personalised and all non-personalised or non-bespoke items are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations and as such we will accept returns providing contact is made first indicating your intention to return the item and the item is returned intact and in it's original, undamaged state. Item must be returned within 7 working days of receipt of item (according to tracking) and the buyer is responsible for all return costs. It is recommended items are sent back using a trackable delivery method. A refund will be issued for the original price paid for the item plus original postage costs. The cost of returning the item is NOT refundable and must be covered by the buyer.
